New grips for my 500WE in olive wood... Guy from Virginia made them and had them for auction on ebay.. I won and paid $83.88.. My biggest concern was how they would fit the grip frame with each model 83 being slightly different, however, for the price I found the fit to be just fine for a hunting handgun. Granted.. its not the perfect fit of a pair made by FA`s that have hardwood grips at $286.00
or micarta at $344.00 plus shipping but they will work in the field and not on the coffee table. Plus, I can take off those God forsaken Pachmyer`s... These will not work on the early model with the grip stud in the forward position..

PRETTY WOOD

Those look good, James.

It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

You did well, my friend.

Olive wood makes great looking knife scales also. Just ask KRal. I've never tried English walnut, just walnut.

Both sets of grips look great James, but the olive wood is my pick.
