Finally my Muzzle Brake came in, and I got it installed. I then
finally got around to loading some 356 Winchester ammo, and was ready for testing three different powders. I set up at the Range this after noon,and got my trusty Pro Chrono Digital Chronograph out, and discovered I had "no power". I got my spare 9V Battery out and installed it, and still no power. Then I discovered the Black battery wire was no longer attached inside the chronograph.
Looks like a trip back to Rockford Ill for repair next week is in order.
It may be a little close, but a should have time to get a load worked up before deer season.

I was a little luckier. I went to chrono some 221 fireballs, and no go. Usually I have a spare battery but must not have replaced it last time. Alas I had some at home and things are back in order now.

Are you sending it to Rockford or driving up there. I assume that is where their factory is?

I will be mailing it in.

Plan B went fine. I called Mark Hampton and borrowed his chronograph.

The first trip to the Range I fired 50 rounds. Went home and loaded another 20, and went back and tested them.

I am pretty happy with the results. I was able to drive the 180 Speers well over 2500 fps with AA2015 powder.
I could not get RL10 or IMR4198 up to 2500 with published loading data.
