I have the black powder, the 357 mag and the 6.5 creedmoor. I love them all. They are very accurate and have a great trigger. I have had the black powder one for five seasons and have killed seven deer with it. The 357 mag is very sweet to shoot. I am deer hunting with it tomorrow morning. The 6.5 is my Christmas present this year.

Thank you. I was thinking about 243 since I mostly predator hunt.

I have the black powder Optima, 243 and the 6.5CM. Have scored deer with the 6.5 and the Optima. Haven't hunted with the 243 yet and actually shot it very little due to not having a scope for it. I now have a 2x6 Bushnell on it and intend to give it a workout but haven't had time to reload any shells yet.

i have the black powder Optima, love it! Many deer kills with it, the furthest being 120 yards. accurate and dependable and has a great trigger out of the box. I now loan it out to others that want to try handguns for hunting. Has worked on two of the guys that have borrowed it. Use the right bait and set the hook!

I have two. A .243 & 300 Blk out. Both shoot great and I am very happy with purchase.

I have a 6.5 Creedmmor. Shoots good with good trigger. Weighs more than my contenders.

I have had one in .223, .243 and .300 blackout, nothing but good things to say about them.

I have one in .243, and love it. Let me see if I can dig up the range report I did on it.

Huh. Can?t find my report. Odd.

Anyway, the short answer is I have the 243 version with a weaver handgun scope. It is ancredibly accurate, and with my handloads is a sub-MOA shooter. I call it my Death Ray since it has always been a reliable hunter. I have taken 3 or 4 deer with it, almost all headshots from 70-130 yards.

I have also hit an 8? balloon at 425 yards on the 3rd shot.

Get it. It?s a hell of a good gun for not a lot of money

I have one is .243 Win and 6.5 Creedmoor. Really like them both. Just wish the .233 Win had a faster twist barrel. But, it works with 85gr Sierra HPBT-GameKing well enough. Both accurate and effective pistols.

I would have the .357 Mag and .44 Mag as well did I not already have them in Contender barrels.
