I got a little extra change on this check from OT and ordered a Galco Kodiak Hunter for a scoped Ruger tonight. I have been looking and trying some holsters for about a year and after trying on one this weekend my buddy has for his S&W I had to have one.
Can't wait to get it. The website said it would have to be made and could be shipped as soon as two weeks. Will be here in time for a Antlerless hunt only in KS for my leftover archery tag.
Will post photos as soon as I get it and get it adjusted for me.

I JUST GOT A KODIAK FOR MY BISLEY HUNTER 45 COLT, HAVEN'T PUT THE SCOPED REVOLVER IN IT YET. THEY TOLD ME 2 WEEKS, 2 WEEKS PLUS AND STILL NO HOLSTER SO I EMAILED THEM AND THEY SHIPPED IT OUT PDQ. ON DAY 10 I SUGGEST YOU CALL THEM. HOLSTER LOOKS GOOD, WELL MADE.

"ADAPT OR DIE". I USE ALL CAPS, NOT BECAUSE I AM YELLING, BUT BECAUSE IT IS AN OLD HABIT FROM MY ARMY DAYS, PLUS IT IS EASIER TO TYPE AND READ.

Thanks for the info. I'm not in any hurry for it. I have an old Quiet Hide holster that I'm using now. It just doesn't hang like I want it when I'm hunting with my longbow and packing the 44 Mag.

I dont think you will be dissapointed. I love mine for my scoped SBHH and as I have mentioned before the bonus is it fits my model 29 beautifully and mr SRH in 480 pretty well. Only thing I dislike is noisy retention strap snap.

Thanks for the info. I'm pretty sure it will fit my unstopped Dan Wesson 8" 357 also.
I will be using it for my Rugers in 44 & 45 Colt. I was looking on their website and I had a pop up from them for 20% off over $100 so I jumped at the chance. That was the deciding factor to do then.
I didn't get the ammo holder. I have one on another custom holster , on the front of holster and it catches on a lot of brush. I have 6 rounds in the gun and a small ammo holder with 6 in my pocket when hunting. If I ever need more than six, well I'm in trouble.

I have a SBH but mine is not scoped and I have been using the Kodiak Hunter chest holster for two years now and love it. You made a good choice. Good luck.
