Remington?s 700 CP: 2,400 FPS Outta A Chassis Gun w/ a 12.5-Inch Barrel ? SHOT Show 2020Looks like y'all were right, the goal of the 700 CP was basically to create a technically unregulated SBR bolt action by designating it as a pistol and giving it an arm brace. For 2020, Remington has added the 6.5 Creedmoor with a 12.5" barrel to the 700 CP's lineup.

Local shop has one in 308, almost missed it in with the other black guns in the case,between $800.00 - $900.00. A left hand bolt would have been nicer.

I like it. Would definitely need ear plugs may be on the buy list if I get to see one.

I like it. Would definitely need ear plugs may be on the buy list if I get to see one. Get the 300 Blackout version and a suppressor and you won't.

Not a fan of the barrel length or the bolt together tactical look of the gun. I do see the utility of it, just prefer the smooth, more classic lines of the original X P. [OLD SCHOOL]
