28 gauge with Apex TSS.

Killer ! I had to cancel my turkey hunt because of the circumstances, hotel, restaurant, etc. I?m missing it.......

Very nice bird! Congrats!!!! Those Apex's are plum nasty. I shoot the 3.5 #9s. I dont want a bird closer than 40yds....lol.

28 gauge is about all i shoot for birds, although iowa doesnt recognize it as a legal gauge for turkeys

You can use a 410 in TN. It used to stop at 20 gauge. The 28 with TSS does a better job than 12 gauges did 25 years ago.
