I'm not gonna lie, of all the cool handgun hunting adventures I see posted on this forum,
I AM MOST JEALOUS AND GREEN WITH ENVY over shooting rock chucks. Considering the joy shooting the occasional groundhog brings me, an outing that successful would probably be to much for my head and heart to take.

I am with cmnash. They got in more field shooting in one hunt than I will get in a life time of hunting local whitetails which is why I bought a Chipmunk pistol to hunt squirrels with.

Thanks, James for posting the photos. I couldn't do it for some reason. Explanation of them: Top photo shows the size/age difference. The ones on the right are this year's pups. Ones on the left probably one or two year olds. Middle giant one is an old stud, an absolute monster. I killed one a little larger last year and getting him mounted to match my giant WV groundhog, They're probably long lost cousins. Bottom photo is about 10-15 minutes shooting. Unbelievable action. Robert is smiling since this was his first adventure shooting so much. I'm not smiling because my thumb is numb from holding my binos nonstop for 4 days and my trigger finger is numb from using it so much. The sacrifices I make! Michael, you need to get some crop damage deer permits from farmers. I'm a little over 2460 and still counting.

Has to be a blast. We used to have tons of ground hogs. Not many now but hand gunning them is still a blast.

I was a handgun hunter, when handgun wasn't cool.....

Two very exceptional shooters right there! Could probably get 1,000 in 2 weeks! Doc, took 2 of my young grandson's out where Robert got that Ground Squirrel with my carry gun, they got 32 Chucks in one after noon. One is 12, the other is 13. One was just shooting a 22 Hornet.
