Got another beauty from master knife builder & good friend Kim Ralston last week. He really did an outstanding job as usual but this one is a little special in that he inlaid a 44 magnum case head on one side of the black micarta & a 41 magnum case head on the other side. Then he made the liners out of Air Force blue knowing that I served in the military, nice touch Kim! The sheath is by good buddy Doc Barranti and is his usual top quality as well. I couldn't be happier & hope to be skinning critters in a few months, thanks Kim! Dick

He did a couple for me recently. He does great work.
If it jams force it! If it breaks it needed replacing anyway.

Nice! He does a fantastic job.

It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

Curious if you ever do one with a gut hook?
Im not really into spending on fancy knives but i like the schrade i have with a gut hook. Thought it was very handy on deer.

JUST MY OPINION: WHILE A GUT HOOK IS A HANDY DEVICE, I THINK IT BEST TO JUST GET A GUT HOOK BUT KEEP IT HIDDEN UNTIL YOU NEED IT (I HAVE A BUCK GUT HOOK FOR THAT), AND JUST GET A PRETTY, FUNCTIONAL, GUT HOOKless KNIFE.
"ADAPT OR DIE". I USE ALL CAPS, NOT BECAUSE I AM YELLING, BUT BECAUSE IT IS AN OLD HABIT FROM MY ARMY DAYS, PLUS IT IS EASIER TO TYPE AND READ.

Very well done! I'd have a hard time taking something that looked that nice out in the woods...
