interesting read,thanks for the link.about 18 years ago i had a 30-06 springfield that i shot a few deer with,got a few,wounded a few !then i discovered that a deer could be killed with a 22 rimfire!long story short...a 30 gr. bullet in the right place is better than a 180 gr. bullet in the wrong place ...jim257

I wonder what Rick would think when he touched off my 16" 416 Rigby? I guess a .416 Barnes 350TSX at 2350fps would impress him! I guess he's never seen a .44 285gr GCSWC zip clean through a Whitetail lengthwise at 80 yards, flip end over end and ie right there? I love my big belted 300 Winnie, but I also have the utmost respect for what handgun can do in trained hands!
