I m having great results with a 240 gr Sierra JHC and between 17.5 and 18.5 gr of 2400 out of my TC Encore with 12" barrel the sweet spot has been about 17.7 gr to 18 and I m using CCI 350's because that's all I have and honestly can get right now.

It's not fowling bad at all. I m gonna run them over the chronograph, but my quick loads is showing about 1500 fps! Its fun to shoot and I m getting really good 4" to 6" groups out to 100 yards with open sights!

Just thought I'd share!

21.0 gr 2400 with a 240gr is about all ive ever shot thru my Redhawk revolver since the late 1980s. Ive only tested H110 a couple times but had no luck.

I shoot 18.5 over 350 primers on a 240 gr bullet
I have bumped as high as 20.0 and it seemed a bit hot for me.
The 18.5 was the sweet spot for me.

If it jams force it! If it breaks it needed replacing anyway.

I was going to try 2400 but couldn't find any at the time when I got my Ruger Blackhawk Hunter "MagnaPort Stalker" package. I had H110 so I loaded some new Starline brass, with Hornady 240 grn. XTP's, WLP primers and 23.5 grn. of H110, the same load I use in my Contender 14" barrel.
On the bags I'm getting 1-1.5" at 50 yards and 3" at 100yds. I ran 25 rounds through it with a 4 power Leupold on it. Can't wait to get it in the woods. Might ever try for a turkey with it as our fall season is centerfire, right before regular deer gun season. I have a blind set up near a windmill and a small depression they travel when they come down from the roost going to some fields.
Here is a target from 25 yards.

By the way Hawkeye, that's a Weigand mount correct? I was thinking of trying that on my Hunter as my Burris likes a little less eye relief than the factory mounts afford.

Yes, it is a Weigand. I got this pistol from Mark Hampton after he took some nice game with it and he was probably raising some money for another pistol or a Hunting Trip. I can't remember what he told me. I had commented on how nice it was and I really wanted it if he ever decided to move it after seeing some posts on different sites about what game he had taken with it. He sent me a message one day he was ready to part with it and I jumped on it. Every time I take it out, I'm amazed at how good it shoots. The load I posted is what I'm working on for a trip or two to NW Oklahoma and after getting it to shoot groups like it did today at 50 yards, I'm loading more and going to 100 yards.
I like the mount and the 4x scope. I have a dot that I might try after hunting season.

I load 21.0 grains under a 200XTP with CCI 300 primers. 1550 fps and very accurate out of my 13" MGM barrel. Accurate out of my Ruger as well.

That sounds about perfect. I loaded some at 22gr and they were a bit toasty.
