Such a fun hunt! 2 does appeared from my right and I started to reach for my rifle and I thought "no, it's 10mm time." I shot the first deer and she dropped like a ton of bricks. I shot at the second deer, but she was further away and tucked behind some brush. It was a difficult shot and I cleanly missed. A short time later a small buck showed up too and I let him walk. Fun times and for anyone who is interested, I was using the Underwood 220gr cast loads. Accurate and sailed on through like you would expect.  
One shot, one kill.
