Guys, been doing some thinking. I'd trust most every one of you guys that I have talked with outside of this forum with just about anything. Most of us are cut from the same pattern or we wouldn't be here. I hope you guys know I'd be willing to help ALL of you in times of need. Well, we are all pretty much in time of need at the moment. So how about this:

What if we use this thread as a way to post things we are looking for. Ammo, brass, bullets, boots, who knows what. If it's a hard to find item, put it on here. Maybe someone has it laying around the garage. Or if someone happens to come across an item in our local outdoor stores / gun shops that we know another member is looking for, we can pick it up for them. They pay ya back for it, and the cost of shipping, and ya send it to them. Or trade something?? I'd be willing to do this for you guys as I am looking at buying the local gun shop here in town. I volunteer there a lot, so I know what comes and goes on those shelves. I know there might be some details to work out that I'm not thinking of, but those can be ironed out, I would think. You would have to keep up with your post, and update it when your need has been filled.

I need 7mm Rem Mag brass or ammo at the moment. A buddy sent me his gun to mount a scope and zero for him. If it's brass, I don't care who made it, or how many pieces, or how many times it has been fired. I trust that you wouldn't sell me something you wouldn't use yourself. If it's ammo, I don't care what weight or who made it.

If this is a bad idea, then let's just scrap it. I'm just trying to help us all... somehow.

BTW I just sold off 35 rounds of 7 mm mag brass to a buddy on 6 BR

I dont have any 7 mag brass or ammo, but I am in. I am willing to pay it forward- I have about 100 pieces give or take of 454 casull brass.

I received an email last week and I believe ADG just shipped a batch of 7mm Magnum brass to their dealers. You may be able to find out if you email them. Their website shows contact info..

Sounds great to me. i spend most of my time reloading bottle neck cartridges and have only recently gotten into straight walled. I'm looking locally (Minnesota) for a couple hundred large pistol primers and could trade some factory ammo for it.

Glad you guys are on board with the idea. I'm going to log on with my phone while down at Cabelas / sportsmans warehouse tomorrow and go through this list. I'll grab what I can. I'll be at the local store this afternoon, and will do the same there.

I'll buy it, and if you guys don't end up needing it, I can list it on gunbroker and sell it there. No harm, no foul!

Man, Sportsman's Warehouse and Cabela's are both down to nothing. Well, they had the oddball stuff, but that was it.

I picked up a sleeve of Federal Large Magnum Rifle primers size 215 ($7.50), a sleeve of Remington Large Pistol Primers size 2.5 ($8.00), and a sleeve of Federal Large Pistol primers($7.70) that we got in at the store today. Send me a PM and I'll get shipping cost for you.

Id like to have 200 NEW Remington(1st choice)(others considered) 204 Ruger brass. Not an immediate necessity but id like to have back up brass so i can wear it out without guilt. Lol!

I use it for making 6x47 rem. (Usually 222magnum necked up to 6mm).

I a few of 209 shotgun primers. I don't shoot a disc rifle anymore. You can have them if you want them. Just need a mailing address.

I'm not to proud to admit that I go to our local gun range from time to time and pick up brass. I have ADHD and going there helps me get out of the house, and allows me to get free brass.

Today, I picked up some 38 special. Looks like it was fired within the last 24 hours. about 50 pieces or so. If ya want it, I'll ship it to ya for the price of shipping.

Also have roughly 75 casings for .45acp that I picked up today. Most look really good. Some look like they've been laying on the ground a few days. I'd run them through my own gun, if I had a 45, so I picked them up. Same offer applies- If ya want them, let me know, and just pay for the shipping.

I don't reload for, or have, either of these calibers, so don't need them. The brass is in the tumbler right now, but will not be de-primed or prepped in any other way.
