CONGRATULATIONS! I think that the 180 gr is the perfect choice for the 10mm..200 gr bullets lack the velocity to make the heavier bullets expand reliably. CONGRATULATIONS!

Well done!!! Autopsy by chance?? Interested in load data as well. I love the 10mm!!! 180gr Federal HST bullet over 9gr's of Longshot, 25-30 yard neck shot. I know a lot of folks frown on it, and thats ok too. It severed her spine at impact, I was surprised by the low exit point but I figure it was from shooting eight foot off the ground into a steep ravine. I was also surprised by the lack of blood, there was some at the impact point but virtually nothing at the exit wound but she had bleed out inside, I'm guessing I hit an artery. I figured the video out and here are the entrance and exit shots. https://youtu.be/sP7I4IZLzhY

Nicely done, David....you make it look easy. Congrats!
It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

Good deal, longhumter. You might want to think about a 165 gr. Sierra JHC. I found in the .40 S&W it was the only reliable bullet I could get 1 shot kills with on deer. Did about 10 deer with it. Other brands required multiple shots, but they may do better in the 10mm with the extra velocity.
