Looking for some advice. So, I figured best to come to the experts. I have recently started playing with my savage striker. I知 shooting right now in a 250 yard friendly competition at my local gun club. I知 competing against all rifle shooter.. Which I feel that I can keep up with most of these guys, even though I知 shooting just a factory 308 striker, besides some trigger work. Long story short. I知 looking for some advice on a decent scope. 18-20 power. That I can buy for around $400. Any advice would you guys could throw my way. I would greatly appreciate. Thank you.

Ernie, I was hoping that you would catch the post. As I know that you have a lot of experience with these pistols. My striker does indeed have a muzzle break. Up to this point I was shooting 125gr. Ballistic tip Nosler痴. But funny that you suggested 155 gr. Because I have 300 on their way to me right now. I did notice that the 125gr. were losing consistent accuracy at this range. Which lead my to believe that a few more grains would help with this. Thank you for taking the time to get back to me. I really appreciate all your help!!

The Super Sniper Scopes are a great value. They Track very well. In low light they are not as bright as a Leupold MK 4 M1 16X Tactical Scope, but they do not cost $1500 either. I really wish that they had about One more Inch of Eye Relief. For $400 they are hard to beat. Sooner or later you will need new O-Rings in the Turrets. The grease will dry up, and then the turrets get very hard to turn. You will want to replace the O-Rings with a different size, and lube with die-electric silicone at some point. I found a post by the owner of SWFA that told what size O-Rings to use for the replacement. They come with over size O-Rings to meet Government water submersion tests. I thought I had a bag hanging in the shop, but I did not locate them. Between my brother and I we probably have six Super Sniper scopes between us.
