Thinking I want to pretty up my Bullberry 7mm08 barrel a bit.
I bought it used and its in 98% shape.
Blueing is worn in some spots and today I noticed some scratches down to bare metal.

I am leaning towards the Gun Garage refinishing in his "stainless steel".
I know someone here has done this but can not remember who.
Pics and reports, good and bad, wold be sweet.
Thanks all.

Thanks,
Shawn

Shawn, He does very good work. I don't have a ss finish from him but he did a wild yellow contender barrel for me and it looks great. I have another barrel to ship him soon and it will be done in the ss finish. I highly recommend his work.

+1 what mags said.

I had him do a Contender frame for a gift for my daughters birthday in piink

He does some real nice work, when I get my new to me 300 tactical rig, he will be making the barrel and action OD.
Email me for a pic of the tender frame. He also lists some good pics on his site.

I have checked out his site and the pics of his work.
I also have herd good reports on the durability.
His solid color cchart is fairly large but a square pic of color does not represent the actual finished bbl IMO.

I am wanting his S. Steel finish but wondering just how S. Steel does it really look...???
Doess it really look like brushed or bead blasted S.S. or just a light grey?

I have a blued frame, base, rings, and scope and want that two tone look.
I also have some really unique and "secret" grip and forends being made so it should be a one of a kind gun when I am done...

Thanks,
Shawn

Don't hesitate to use Gun Garage. I sent him an Encore barrel and forearm and a picture of my unique camo pattern for him to try to match. He did a great job matching the color and pattern of the camo. It saw use in the field this year and I had no wear problems whatsoever. The barrel does have a JPHowitzer muzzel brake that he painted the inside of. It only took about 10 shots for the blast to burn away the paint inside the brake. I'm not complaining, the rest of it still looks great.
