District Game commission meeting yesterday started the approval on the use of handguns for elk with restrictions, I believe they used your reccommendations Gary. Was on a post in the KY hunting forum when news was posted. also found where they had it on the agenda yesterday. Looks like a big win for us handgunners. Thanks KYODE for bringing this to every ones attention.

looks like my wonderful 18.5", including OTT shark gill muzzle brake, 300 winchester magnum encore handgun, wearing a 2x6 bushnell trophy ler scope in 3 leupold vertical split rings on a weaver base.......deep breath........has a useful purpose in life

see what happens when there is enough ground swell and it's done politely in enough numbers. way to go....now you kentucky hunters, get out there and get some elk steaks!!!

oh yeah!.....complete with sling studs for easy packing and steady offhand shots. plus.... wearing a factory composite rifle forearm and factory rubber grip.

i think it's a great elk setup .308-.30-06 RIFLE performance from a handgun ain't nuthin to sneeze at, n i'm sure lotta elk have fallen to standard 180gr spitzers at those velocities.

Yeah...me too...that's why I'm still awake!! Can't believe I even thought that...just happens that when I think fushia I think Pam and the DE's. That's all ruined for me now!!
