I just picked up the last of the Super Mags today. The 414 was the last to be had. I now have all 4. I can't wait to shoot it.  CZ has Dan Wesson alive and well. So if you are interested in a Super Mag give them a call.

very nice gun tig oughta be a lil hammer too.  collecting to be collecting is not really my thing, but you'll have a nice revolver setup there.

Yes I am going to shoot it. As soon as I get home. Right now I'm in the middle of Kansas snowed in. The crane could not come in today to load my truck. Just befor I left home I ordered the brass and dies. I have bullets and powder on hand. It's just a matter of putting everything together.
I have not shot the 375 yet.  But I will soon.
PS: Sure glad this super 8 has a puter.

The 414 is the 41 Magnum lengthened. The 41 mag is 1.280" long and the 414 is 1.610" long. Back in the hayday of IHMSA Elgin Gates came up with the idea of stretching the 357, 41 and 44 to this length. He also shortened 375 Winchester brass. The idea of the "super mags" was to get the heavy for caliber bullets up to standard weight bullet velocities to nock the 200 meter rams over.
