..will take your blank barrel and turn it into a Contender Barrel. I know that I've heard you guys mentioning it but I'm gettin' old so forgive me. I have an almost new bull XP bbl in .338 IHMSA (300 savage necked up to .338 and blown out). I want to keep my XP in 7mmBR so maybe they can turn this one into a Contender bbl for me?

the 6x47 contender barrel in the thread link was made from a rem 700 bull barrel varmint special. as long as the diameter is ok.....OTT can do a bang up job on one.

Shawn,
Mike has turned 2 Competitor barrels into Encore barrels for me. They are much smaller than the reg. Encore barrels at the breech end....i.e., a straight tube. Does not even come close to the sides of the frame when mounted. Never any chance of hinge marks on it at all, and locks up tight just like any regular barrel.
