I recently won a barrel off of ebay. I got it at a fair price for what it was listed as, but I was nervous for obvious reasons.

The barrel came today and I am really, pleasently surprised. It is a 14.5" 50AE Fox Ridge barrel with open sights. The surprising part, and it wasn't listed on ebay, is that the barrel has been Magnaported. 4 ports up by the sights. I am tickled pink, like finding a Christmas present you didn't expect.

Barrel has never been shot or mounted, all should be well. I have two boxes of Speer Gold Dot ammo that I will try to shoot this weekend, if it doesn't rain.

Tonight I had an even bigger surprise.

I told my wife of my ebay purchase and she didn't get mad, didn't even say anything deragatory. Given that things have been quite tight around here for a while, I was very surprised by her reaction.

....or she could be silently plotting to beat you w/ it through the night!!
