I need to find a quality pistol rest to sight in my new scope. This is my first scoped pistol so I could use some advise on proper support and placemnet. Also what rests do you use and what do you like or dislike about the one you have?

I really like my Bull Shooter Pistol rest. It's very easy to use and very durable.

I've got a Caldwell "The Rock Jr." rest, a "Flat Top" front bag, and an "Ingot" style rear bag. Real simple and works well.
I'm not as good as I was..... But I'm the best I'll ever be....

I second the Caldwell. I also made a few small bags with fine sand in them for extra support around the grip sometimes on the heavy recoil calibers.

This is the best rest in my opinion, this one is convertable to yuse with rifle or pistol and they are made rock solid.
