OK, I know everone reads this website, but what about magazines? Here is the list that I read and love:
Handgunner Magazine (of course) Mule Deer Foundation North AMerican Hunting Club Hunting Mulie Crazy Magazine Eastman's Journal Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation
What other hunting magazines are out there that are worth getting? This doesn't include the gun/shooting magazines that I read, but I am always looking for more/better magazines to read and re-read. Too many times I read an article in magazines like "Hunting", that you question where the animal was taken; was it fair-chase? Was it in a High Fence ranch and is being passed off as fair-chase; or is it an article about a $25-30K hunt, that I will never be able to go on...

Two of my favorites are Predator and Prey and I really enjoy Boar Hunter Magazine. They usually have some pretty good articles along with good tips & tactics. Of course all of them are pretty good reading. Im still looking for a good Upland Hunting Mag., havent come across one yet. Any bird hunters out there that might know of one or two?

Lets see,
Handgun Hunter Magazine
The Varmint Hunter Magazine
The Sixgunner
Lots of reading in the Varmint Hunter Mag, it's published 4 times a year. The Sixgunner is mostly members stories.

All I read is NAHC, Sixgunnerm, Handgun Hunter Magazine, and sometimes Peterson's Hunting. Try this link for the Sixgunner.. http://www.sskindustries.com/hhi.htm

I forgot to include "The Sixgunner". I have been a member of the HHI for a number of years and still have everyone of them. It is a great publication, i just wish it would come out more! Maybe with J.D.'s son now running it, he will expand on it.

O.K Just three Handgun Hunter (over & over & over) American Hunter (NRA Mag. Monthly) Georgia Outdoor News ( Also Monthly) I wish that we had more local articles in GON about Handgun hunting in Georgia. I think we will at some point because Handgun hunting within the state at least IMO seems to be on the rise and gaining popularity within the state.

Why not Buckmasters? I have my reasons, but I am curious if we have the same opinion! I just subscibed to Eastman's a couple of months ago are really enjoy it. I even recently read Mike Eastman's book on Elk Hunting and the book thye promote "Public Land Mulies, The Bottom Line", bt David Long. They are both great books!
