my six year old son sighned up for tiger cubs and they practically begged for leaders/helpers.i sighned up and now im a assistant leader of troop 143,den #3!these kids have something going on all the time,camping this weekend,fishing the next...these days the kids need all the positive things re-enforced and there is no better way than being outdoors,having fun with family and friends...i know this has nothing to do with handguns but im excited!jim257

AWESOME JIM!!! Welcome to the pack!! I have been in Cub Scouts since my first was a Tiger. Pack 777. I'm now the Weblos leader and the Tigers leader. I'm also a certified Boy Scout life guard. When I first got into Scouts they said only 1 hour a week. That was far from the truth. I will tell you that I would not trade one minute of scouts for anything, it's an awesome feeling to see a kids face light up the first time they pull a fish out of a pond, or tie a knot all by themselves. I'm also in the process of becoming an NRA safety instructor, so we can get the boys out to the range more.

Dig in with both feet and don't look back, you woun't regret it! I borrowed a tractor trailer this 4th of July and we made a 45 foot float for both Girl and Boy Scouts to ride on. It was awesome!!
