I find it hard to believe that a 700 grainer is needed since I don't think my 440GCLSWC over Max H110 will be stopped by anything here in the lower 48. I shot TonyV's 500S&W with 700-750's and they were brutal, but wow but did his gun shoot. I think these are designed to stop Iraqi tanks and such!
Do a search for my logon and look at my Black-moly coat 500 S&W. I took it Colorado on a video taped Elk hunt when it was factory stainless. It shined like a flash light in the timber; hense the baked moly that has held up estremely well. I rarely carry it in teh holster when I timber hunt. Two years and counting and no chipping or flaking. The 500 is one awesome cartridge. I know it will be killing 3-4 white tails this year and hopefully an Elk next fall. XP-Nut?
Now just a bonafide 'X' frame nut!
Go get em!
