IIRC, someone mentioned hearing T/C customer service was going downhill. I'm glad to report this might be an exageration/isolated case. Being a moron I managed to lose 2 of the dovetail forearm screw locks. The nice lady took my name and address to send me two at no charge without commenting on my moronishness.

I will see how they are. I just sent in my favert barrel a S.S. 10 inch 357 magnum barrel. It had a duo ring mount on it. I shot it at an opossum the other night and the scope and base poped off. come to find out the 4 screws that held it in place was only holding on by a few treads each and they all let go and damaged the tread holes and pulled up some metal around them. I just sent the barrel abd base back to T/C and they got it today.

I asked if this barrel could not be fixed if they would replace it with an encore pistol barrel in 209x50 or 357 mag or a contender in 17 hm2. lets see what I get back

I was out hunting this morning with my 15" 209x50 and shot a med. 6 pt buck with it. during the shot The thimble broke loose and when I removed the ramrod it fell to the ground. I called T/C and asked for a new one and screw they said they will send it right out. I asked them about my 357 mag barrel I was told it they where out of stock on that barrel and it will be a while, I told the guy on the phone I will take a substitute barrel I was told that it had to be a contender barrel so I told him the only other barrel I would want is a 17 HR2 he said OK and that was that, Now Lets wait and see what I get in the mail and when I get it.

waiting 3 months for my 7 mag barrel....it was lose in the frame..on three different frames mind u....it would move left an right like a jiggle...sent them a letter with it an said how i cant get a group at 50 yards with it because of that....every week i call an every week i get ther backed up an no one has looked at it yet..an the girl on the phone said they had it in the puter as not being able to group..nothing about the jiggling....an now i got a 30-30 hunter barrel that wount open at all on my contender frame..the older stly were u need a screwdriver under the hammer to change it from center fire to rim fire...so i dont even wana think about how im going to have to deal with that one lol

Check your lock up bolty things. It sounds like that 30-30 is a bit thick and the 7mm needs an oversized hinge pin.
