Is there a seater plug available that wont deform the nose of a .357 SSPB? The round nose plug that came with my RCBS 357 dies deforms it pretty bad. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I've never tried it but what about a seater plug out of dies for one of the .35 caliber rifle cartridges like the .350 Rem Mag or something similiar, just an idea though like I said I've never tried it.

FLS, I had the same problem. I just drilled the seater so the bullet would hit on the jacket instead of smashing the lead.

Lonerider has the right idea. I've been using the plug out of my 35 remington set. It works great with that particular bullet in my 357 Herrett. I put the roundnose back in when I load 200gr hornady round nose which are very accurate in my barrel and I use it when shooting steel at a local woods walk course.
