I went hoping this cold weather we're getting would have the pigs moving. No luck. I did manage to fill a couple of doe tags and killed my first bobcat with a handgun. The yearlings fell within feet of each other at about 25 yds. If I hadnt been fumbling around text messaging my buddy to rub it in , their mom would have bought the farm too. I shot the bobcat on the way to the truck at about 40 yds. I used a .41 SRH Bisley Hunter, 2X Leupold scope and a Speer 220 gr JSP over 22.5 grains of Lil Gun. 4 deer, 2 pigs and a bobcat with handguns this season, I think I'm hooked.

Nice bobcat. That's my goal after January.

Congrats! What a day in the field!

I wonder what the record would be for the number of game
animals in a day for an "average" hunter ( non-TV guy ) with a handgun?!

Outstanding!!

OUTSTANDING!! I have been trying for a bobcat for 3 years now with no luck. Can't wait to try again this winter.
