Any one out there now were one is would like to find one dont think they are being produced now think they were a special run. Thanks for the help

They were a special run...but I do not know the total production numbers. Does anyone know?

I got mine in 2005 at Cabelas in Michigan. I think a few months ago they still had one in the display case. I'll check the next time I'm there. Here's a pic of mine after some work by MagnaPort.

last week they had 1 for around 450 at doc holidays gun shop in ozark mo. 4175817296 hope this helps

There were only 500 made and were available through Davidsons. Ruger is doing another special run of the hunter in .41 this year.
