I finished out my deer season with these two, a 9 pt and a doe. Both killed with my .41 Bisley hunter. 220 gr Speer JSP over Lil'gun.

Outstanding! Those Hunter pistols are great. I had three of them last year. one 45LC Bisley Hunter, one 45LC Hunter reg grip and one 41 Mag Bisley Hunter.
I kept the 45LC Hunter in Reg grip and sold the other two to my hunting buddies. I didn't score with mine this fall but took two deer with my Encore 7mm-08 and my XP100R 260.
I'm doing a hog hunt in Feb w/my Ruger Hunter.
Great looking deer.

Mike

TCH, I guess she was abot 135-145. I had to settle for the little buck on the last day. The muy grande got away earlier when my ML misfired in the rain. I put it away and toted my revolver the rest of the hunt. I KNEW it would go off when I needed it.

Man...thas a big doe. I killed my best yet this year@ 115. They can get 120-130, but that is very much the exception around here. A 80-100lber is a good average doe.

That is indeed a nice finish, congradulations.
Is that processing set up yours? It looks like a sweet set up for butchering deer.

Jim 257,I think its perfect for the hunting I do, mostly medium sized deer and hogs from point blank to about 100 yds. Everything I've hit with it has died quickly. My Ruger is far more accurate than I am.

Gascheck, thats a friends shop. My setup is similar but not quite as elaborate. I have a manual chain hoist on a trolley.
