Just wondering what everyone else does. We don't have an indoor range where I live, southern WI - but one of my buddies has a 100 acres at his house, so we have our own range there. We typically start with our 357's, then up to the .44's, then .454, 460, etc. Between 5 of us, an average day would be somewhere around 300-400 rounds or so, but we reload most of it, so it isn't actually that expensive. The end of the day we have a tradition of digging out the trap thrower, and shooting 10 rounds of trap each using an 870 pistol grip which we shoot one hand only, the loser has to buy the case of beer. What does everyone else do?

WOW
That sound real interesting you guys must have strong wrists, that is a lot of steel hanging out there with one hand. That sounds like a good time and hard to do. The guys I hang out with love to shoot double action all the time as fast as they can with the s&w pc hunter I have some great video of those crazy s.o.b.s

Well I was somewhat kidding about shooting one handed, a couple of the guys do it, I don't though.

I am more concerned about the case of beer. Is it consumed where you do the shooting and then you guys drive your vehicles home in an enibriated state or do you divide the beer up and then its consumed at each individuals house without driving while under the influence?
All we need are drunk gun owners out driving and getting into trouble making all gun owners look like a bunch of gun owning banging away sots.
That will help our image alright.
I hope this is not the case.

I know it only takes a couple of beers to reach the "limit", but Pottsey and his FOUR shooting buddies are responsible people(BEING HANDGUNNERS!)I'm sure, and four beers per HANDGUNNER definately doesn't make a fellow HANDGUNNER a SOT!
Sheeze....

KINGFISHER: I did not say they "were sots" I said "look like sots". go back and read what I said. If you are legally drunk then you are drunk in the eyes of the law. that is all that matters nothing else. You may be able to drink a case and function better than me sober but that does not mean squat in the eyes of the law.
I take it you don't care how gun owners and shooters are made to look right? Especially by the actual gun owners and shooters themselves.

Stop and Think.

We never sit there and drink a whole case, maybe 2-3 each. Sometimes none.
