Dan and Gerry, I want to get a better (beefier & squared off) stock for my fireball. Where do I look and what do I ask for? Thanks Ed

The HS Precision stocks are very nice but you have to be very patient. They make 2 styles a Varmint and Silhouette. I have one on order for custom XP and it's a 22 week wait.

There was a neat site listed on here a few days (week or so)ago. If you find two thats reasonable let me know and I'll buy one with you. I figure with a heavy stock and a heavy scope, the 221 Fireball will shoot dime-sized groups. Heck, mine is already sub MOA with a 4x Leuie - Still, it's only a 150 yard gun - 2 at most. Gerry

ED, I used an HS Precision stock on my 221 FB. With the bi-pods I can use a rifle scope on it. Sure is a charlie killer. I got mine 3 years ago. The wait was only a few weeks. From what I hear now the wait is like 6 months. Kind of wish I had gotten 2 or 3 back then.

Tigger That is a nice lookin rig. I'm going to try to have the original stock reworked by Dan's Stock Shop to look as close to your stock as possible. Do you have more pictures from different angles that you could post. Thanks Ed

Ed...I can likely get the forearm shaped but not sure I can get backend reworked like the HS stocks. The grip and backend of the factory's are not that bad...pretty good actually. It's the forearm that's enemic!! I sold two of those stocks a couple months back...$40 for both!! Get an extra and send it up...I'll play!
