I see he has officially thrown his hat into the Republican ring. What do we know about him? Being born and raised in NYC the answer is likely obvious, but they talked about everything but guns on Letterman last night. What say you's?

We all know his true colors. He is liberal and pro-big government which is there to micro manage.
He has always been anti-freedom and those in the know realize that. He will not discuss much about the firearms issue so he won't alienate himself with Middle America.

All things said are true, however he has proven his leadership abilities during 9/11 and is big time anti-terroist. As a life long Republican and one who considers himself as a conservative if the Republican convention was today in my state I would vote for him. Our country in these times needs proven leadership at the helm. Nobody is going to be satisfactory in all respects. At any rate he is a hell of alot better than what the democraps have to offer.

Anti-Gun and Pro-Abortion... I don't think he could possibly win the Republican Nomination.
I really like the guy but his stance on guns turns me off completely.

My mind has been made. Thanks all for the info. Looks like we are pretty much screwed for a candidate this time around. Hopefully Fred Thompson can get the details worked out so he can run. Otherwise................?
