Does anyone have an opinion about this? I was thinking that since no one makes a good bore guide for the Encore and I like to break-in my barrels this might be a better way to go to avoid cleaning damage to the barrel. For those that don't know what this is they are loaded rounds of ammo that have diffrent grades of polishing compound on the bullets to esentially fire lap the barrel. I thought with this stuff I might get by with shooting 20 rounds during break-in instead of 100. The barrel is a .243 factory tube. Any thoughts?

encoreguy,

I haven't used the loaded ammo from Tubbs but HAVE used his coated bullets kit from Midway and have been very pleased with the results. Accuracy was mildly improved and fouling was greatly reduced.
