What's your favorite or most used powder? I've been using a lot of 2400, Reloader 7 and H4895.

I find I use mostly Reloader 15, Benchmark, and H 110 in my hunting handguns.

Is Benchmark considered one of the "extreme" powders? What do you use it for? I've got some RL-15 to try in the 7-08 and possibly the 257 Roberts AI, too. Never used it before.

I probably use more 296 than anything else but also a lot of Varget , IMR4350, and H322.

Benchmark is one of the extreme powders. I use it in 204 Ruger and 223 Rem in my Contender. I also use it in 204, 223, and 22-250 in my varmint rifles. It is clean burning and very consistant.

wow.....my favorite is the one that works best in the cartridge at the time.

but....there is a list i've used n had success with above others n have in stock to use in what i load.... H1000, AA2015, H322, Benchmark, IMR4198, IMR4350, H110, 2400, Varget, H4895, Blue Dot, H335, and SR4759. i would only add others if these did not produce results, n so far that has not been the case.

H110 in almost all my straight wall cartridges, I buy it by the 8 pound keg. Benchmark is awesome in my 223 barrel. IMR 4227 in the Bee and RL-7 in the 221 FB. Varget and RL-15 seem to be twins in my 243 barrel. H322 works great for the XP in 35 Rem. I have a bunch of other powders in the wooden box, but these get the most use.

As a side note the SRH in 44 likes Blue Dot, that's the only gun I have tried it in so far. I might see if the other straight walls like it.

I've used 2400 but like the AA#9 better in my 44
2400 works well in my 30-06 rifle (did i say that out loud)

my 45 seems to like the bullseye

I use Unique in my 45's. I have an old beater that started life as a Norinco 45 and I rebuilt it with all new components and a Wilson barrel and it loves Unique. I've tried all kinds of other powders in it but go back to Unique for this one.
