JD Jones has long forbode Barnes bullets in the 'Tender. A pressure thing, as the solid copper won't swage as easily as lead. Have heard similar for Swift A-Frame and the like. I have no personal experience, just a messenger. If in an Encore or other beefier action there should be no problem. FWIW, Rod.

i'm just not into spendy bullets that are near a buck each \:o there is nothing i'd ever hunt that would require anything but a bullet of standard design.....n that would include up to elk size game(if i ever do that).

just a lil conversation. i don't have 8mm anything to go along with yer thread ;\)
