Are you new to handgun hunting? If so you're starting off with one of my favorite guns...the hunter.

I've been handgun hunting only for 2 years. I have taken 2 deer with handguns, both does. I have an Encore 7mm-08 and 3 Rugers. I have a Redhawk Hunter in .45 Colt, a Super Redhawk in .44 Mag, and just added the Super Blackhawk Hunter Bisley in .44 Mag. Nothing against the Encore but I really like hunting with the revolvers. I am kind of partial to the .45 Colt cartridge, it does a real number on deer! Gary...What load did you use on that bruiser 8 point you harvested with your SBHH 45 Colt?

Welcome, glad to see you posting. This is a great site, but I don't have to tell you that if you've been visiting for some time. I'm partial to Ruger revolvers too. I have six and would like a couple more.
