Just killed 2 copperheads in my next door neighbors driveway.

Gary, Me too. I work out in the woods and so far have seen 3 copperheads and 1 timber rattlesnake, and it aint even summer yet. Think I might start carrying my 38 with some snake loads.

The only good snake IMO is a headless snake!! When someone yells snake I go for the big gun...the spade shovel!!

I sure wish I could get you guys to save the skins and freeze them. I put them on my primitve bows. I catch about 20 Copperheads a year and some times about 10-15 timber rattlers. They sure look good on osage bows.

Can't help you with the copperheads or timber snakes BUT I have bunches of eastern rattlesnake skins.

Can send ya some to put on your bows.

Exactly what I need. I'm wondering how we could do some trading or such. Here are a few copperheads I got. Two are 30" long. One 28" female had 10 babies in sacks in her.

Being from Maine I am happy to say i know nothing about snakes. What are you doing with the snakes Just killing them, keep in mind That is fine with me

We don't have any snakes like that up here. they claim that there is an occassional rattler in the western mountians, but I have never seen one and hope that it is an experience I never have

I have a hatband and 2 belts with eastern d'back hides on them.

Have several whole snakes and several hides in the freezer.

Used to kill all snakes that I came across but now will seldom bother a nonpoisonus snake BUT rattlers, cottonmouths, copperheads, and coral snakes had best not let me see em.

I do have a less than 1 year old timber rattler in an aquarium at my friend's gunsmith shop. Sam is our night time security---but kinda hard to find in the morning sometimes.

I HATE SNAKES!! I get the "crawls" just looking at those pictures. I shot a big "cow" snake in front of my house not long ago. My neighbor is a snake lover. She said "You shouldn't kill snakes because they kill rats and mice". I said "So do I!" She said "a big black snake like that will kill poisonous snakes". I said "So do I!"
