I see these on Ebay all the time. 2-7 x32 variable for about $45.00 new. "Lifetime Warranty".(Yeah right)
I wouldn't imagine they would hold up to much recoil, but I was thinking I might try one on my 22 hornet & take the TC 3RP off it & put it on my 44 mag.
Any body tried one of these "New Centurys"?

i have the 2.5x ncstar on my 22/45 ruger 5 1/2" bull barrel auto. after several hundred rounds it is still doing great! they are well worth testing. just be sure ya know it's a gamble when ya buy it. maybe you'll get by, and maybe you won't.
i am well pleased with the 2.5x model. couldn't be happier with it's performance on the 22 auto, so far.
i had the 2.5x7 model, but only for a very short period. it looked fine, and is longer in length than the 2.5x model(not sure by how much). i upgraded that gun to a 2x7 burris, so i can't say how it would have held out for the long haul.
well worth a try on light kickers, if you go into it with the right mindset(possible...win,loose, or draw).

Thanks Kyode.
I've still got a $50.00 Ebay pay-pal gift certificate from Christmas that I better use up & that may be the recipient. If it doesn't survive I'm not out any "real" money. How's that for theright mindset!!

Ncstar

Here is a link to a article I did on a 4x Ncstar scope.

I also have a 2x-7X on a 22LR barrel and it seems to work fine. I would not recomend them for a hard kicker, but they seem to work fine the lite stuff.
