I really saw a bizarre thing today in a local gun shop. They finally had in stck one of the G2 Contenders. It was chambered in 22lr. I tried to cock the hammer to see how it functions(after permission of course). Well the stupid thing wouldn't cock. I was told by the gunsmith there that in some cases the bolt had to be changed for existing barrels to work in the new G2 frames. Has someone else seen this problem? I'm not sure I like the feel of the new frame only time will tell(if I ever buy one).

Yes I have. A friend bought one and it did the same thing. It would only allow you to cock the hammer if you closed the action very hard - hard enough that you would not think to do it on a new gun in a gun shop.
