I don't have any experience with that particular round but I own 3 of his revolvers, two in 475 Linebaugh and one in 410 GNR, all are well done and are very accurate and I've heard the same about his t/c stuff.

I'm same as wapitirod, don't have any experience with that round but, own a 475 Linebaugh from Gary. It's Sweet as Molasses covered with Honey! Superior craftmanship! Best feeling revolver I've ever put in my hand. I'll own another someday.

I had a 7-30 Waters carbine rechambered by Reeder to the 7 GNR. It was very accurate with the 120s and the 140s. Traded it off to a fellow on this Board a couple of years ago. It's an awesome looking case and easy to form. Chamber a factory 7-30 round and fire and you have the 7 GNR. I don't recall the ballistics now and I gave my data with the barrel, but definitely better than the 7-30. Reeder was good to do business with. I traded because I wanted a larger round for hunting the brush. If you decide on the 7 GNR, you will not be disappointed.

I have a 7 GNR Contender barrel. It is superbly accurate. I've been using 120 grain bullets and either Varget or H322 powder. Gary is a true professional at his trade. I had a problem with the first set of dies I got for the 7. Gary sent me new ones(Redding this time) before I even sent the others back. I just got a 429 GNR Mini Beast barrel from him. It is great and shows some real potential. I think the mext thing from him will be a custom revolver. Just gotta find the cash and a base gun. I think you'll enjoy the 7gnr.

I have a 7mm GNR Contender barrel that I have been using for 4 years. Super accurate with Speer 130 grain spitzers @ 2520 fps.

Is the 7mm GNR based off the 30-30 case?
