Yep, I can't wait to get over there for good. One the snow get off the pass' we will start going over there camping again. We have seen just about everything over there. Prong horns, Bald Eagles, Zorse (cross between a horse and a Zebra) theres a ranch over there that raises them. Funny look things. The got those sage rats that you can sit in one place of a hay field and use up a brick of .22LR's. I've never dont it myself, but a bunch of guys I worked with use to do it all the time. That is going to be great living there. Built my own range out the back door.

hmmmm... If I move to Oregon I can own 50 BMG's, class 3's and hunt a good variety of game, I think Im going to have to put some more research into that idea...!!!

we do have some feral hogs, the dept of agriculture started a heavy erradication effort but fish and wildlife felt left out so hunting them is now under their jurisdiction, before you didn't even need a hunting license and you could kill all you want, now you need a license and there might be a limit but I'd have to double check. The biggest problem with hunting the hogs here is that they inhabit mostly ranch land and at first the ranchers were open to hunters but then the state newspaper ran a big article on the issue and the next thing the ranchers knew they had a bunch of city slickers trespassing or knocking on their doors all hours of the night and morning, in other words a major lack of respect so now it is much harder to get permission and the ranchers have started erradicating the pigs themselves.

No home of records anymore they cracked down on it because of so many Washington state people doing it for sales tax evasion, so the 2 states got together and started busting them. Now they have got back taxs to make up for. Not good.

Y’all are to kind. If I did move up there, I would make sure I had neighbors that I liked and could tolerate if you know what I mean. My wife wants at least 200+ acres. But she does have a degree in Agg, so I can’t say too much.

I have done very well with knocking on people doors and asking them for permission to hunt. I show them respect and use my manors like I should and I have never had any problems

I’ll keep saving until I get mine!!! It would be ideal if my place backed up to a wildlife refuge. I had a couple of friends in Texas that had places like that. They would put up feeders about 100 yards away from the fence. They always had monster deer coming in.

Couple of years, 20 acres, cabin in the middle and no one with in a mile or 2. The good life!

I blame Gary and Clay Oldham for the work completed on my Ruger. I got the idea form the article in the 2005 magazine.

Magnaport did a trigger job, recessed muzzle, velvet hone finish, polished and jeweled the trigger and hammer, polished the base pin, ejector rod, pins and screws. Put a pin stripe around the cylinder where the caliber is. I think they did a great job and recommend them to anyone looking for that type of work on their guns.

Are you really complaining, if she shoots have as well as she looks she is ready for battle.
