If you like the SP-101 and want 6 instead of 5 I guess that's why. The cost of factory ammo is rediculous. I do think it would make a good round for a 10" 'Tender tho.

Looks like the gun makers will never stop trying to reinvent the wheel. I am happy with my 45 acp revolver.

It makes sense with less recoil, I'd buy one for the wife if other manufacturers sign on. I see it as a great concealed carry gun with the right frame.

Charter Arms has come out with one. I've never been a fan of their's but the price is going to fit more budgets. Then maybe folks can afford the $29 a box of 20 ammo :-(

I wouldn't buy one because of the ammo price. And why not just carry a 38 with +P's or a 357 mag. They are a proven round for alot of years.

The latest chat is that Ruger was sitting on a few thousand 3" SP-101's and/or parts in the .32 H&R that weren't moving so they hooked up with Federal to pump up the volume. Being that the cylinder length was already geared for the .357 magnum it was a simple process to bore the H&R's that 1/8" deeper and voila, revelation! Looks like the chicken came first here.

Well I wasn't ever going to buy a .32 and now I'm never going to buy a .327. I don't think I'm the only one out there either.

I am just now getting my 44 Mag situated. I don’t think I am going to jump on the .327. I would much rather have a 41 Mag or a 357! Or a 410GNR or a 480 Ruger or a...

I already own a Charter snubby in .38 special that works well for a concealed carry gun for me, but if I ever had the funds laying around to play with I'd like the Charter in the .327 for the wife. Recoil friendly & still effective.
In a 5 shot revolver 2 boxes of ammo would last a long time, & practice with handloads occassionaly.

I like the new round, but I'm not interested in the platform they are going to offer it in. You are right it's a solution to a question that was not ask. Self defense = 38 special for women and 357 mag for men, why reinvent the wheel? I am interested in what the round could do in an Encore barrel for small vermin and small game hunting. Or put it in a 7.5" barreled hunter model. I love my 32 H&R single six. The hunter would be like a big brother. But maybe that's just the gun collector in me. \:\)

I will own one of everything in time. LOL<LOL<LOL
