Here are my 44's. The Blackhawk is customized by Mag-Na-Port w/ holster by Mernickle and the Redhawk by Jack Huntington w/holster by Simply Rugged. The knife is by Javelina Knives.

Sorry it's not a great picture close up, but hey it's a working gun, and it's at work. I also have a 7.5" Redhawk in SS, but no picture. If we are talking 44 caliber I have to add in my Dan Wesson 445 Super mag here too. This photo was when I first got the gun. The cheap rings have come off and I use it with the iron sights.

Those German Grips are Awsome! I looked at some on the net. They are a little $$$ but seem to be very high quality. I think i may get some for my 4" Redhawk

This is one I took last week. Not a great pic, but this is a brown bear track near my black bear bait station. You can see the track goes from barrel tip to the crane swivel, & if you look just right you can make out a toe nail or two. The mod 29 barrel is an 8&3/8", so the bear should be a solid 9 footer (normal estimater is take the track in inches, & add 1 for the squared bear size in feet. Some guides say add 2, but I go with the add 1 so I don't feel like I'm cheating!). We can't shoot brownies The gun is a plain Jane shooter/working gun. It's a -4 model, 30mm Ultra Dot 4 sight, Weigand base & rings, Mag na port 4 port rifle style porting, Hogue grips. Hopefully in the next year or so a local smith will do a satin re-blue for me. Normal load is 300 or 320 hardcast @ 1300-1346 fps. The load in it that day was the 1346 fps load.

Just a regular ole Super Blackhawk Hunter with a BSA red dot and Weigand scope rail. I have added a spring kit and a Belt Mtn base pin as well as the Hogue monogrip...I had an issue maintaining a good grip on the revolver with the stock laminate grips while wearing hunting gloves.

What in the world is Sarah Brady going to do with all of these 'Saturday Night Specials' after you hand them over to her. You know, guns like these are very, very bad. They are just a crime waiting to happen!! ;)Unfortunately I don't own 1 stinking 44 magnum, I have 7!!!!

Is that an Accusport limited run gun?? Yes on the Accusport. The grips were done by my friend who does this type of work with a laser engraver. He does great work.

Well I'm new here to the forum, but not handgunning. I recently picked up a nice find for me, not for some though. I just happen to be brousing my local pawn shop as I was looking for a Ruger SBH in SS without the square trigger guard and unfluted which is what I was looking for, and even though it has the fugly hogue grips it still shoots quite well. I did aquire thru another guy, a set of Ruger grips for it.

Not to change the topic, if I am. I've got a Super Blackhawk Hunter, w/Bisley grip. I'm thinking about a sling. Any comments. ideas, or photos? Also, single or dual point attachment? Thanks! Revolver Man

That’s a nice piece. Post it on the Bragging Board and we’ll make sure it gets on the post! As for your question, slings can be useful if used and practiced with. As for how, there are others on this form that can give you better advice that I, cough, KYODE, cough. With that being said, just be careful not to burn your sling with the flame from the cylinder!

Hey Doug and Lars, maybe its about time you get one. Got mine on gunbroker.com for $500 total brand spanking new (without the scope of course) and it shoots great... 2 1/4in groups at 100 yards on the bean bag.

Here is mine. Only one 44 revolver (also have Marlin 1894SS Lever gun) but it does have 2 barrels. The other one in the picture is a DW 357 with 3 barrels. Here is the 44 with the custom muzzle brake built by my brother for it. It replaces the barrel nut. Robb
