The 250 Savage has a SAAMI pressure standard of 45,000 C.U.P. and the 300 is 46,000 C.U.P. From what I understand that's right at the upper limit of the Contened frame for a .473" bolt face cartridge. I know that a lot of guys like Bellm and JD Jones improve the cases to almost a straight wall and this is supposed to help direct the pressur off the bolt face a little, and towards the chamber walls. So they can get all the performance of the cartridge and not hurt the frame. I would think if you load it in the giude lines of what Mike provides it will be fine, BUT if you load on the heavy side things could go south fast.
