Last year I owned one Contender barrel and frame. Then I started listening to Kyode! Now I have a terminal case of Contenderitus! Stay clear of Kyode. He is an EVIL person! From top to bottom. 375 JDJ, 44 Magnum, 7mm tcu, 7/30 Waters and a 6mm tcu on the way. Is there any hope for me?

Gman, That's just the beginning. It only gets better (worse) from here. At least you got a good collection started. Trust me, more barrels, frames and other paraphenalia will be collected. You should thank old Kyode for converting you.

Gman,Kyle also has Encores. You also will need one of them,maybe two. Don't let him show you up. You got to keep up with him. :grin:

I don't think he has a XP-100,Yet. Buy one of them and make him jealous.

I don't have a contender yet so if you got the contenderitus from KYODE it might be a good thing we didn't meet up this spring. I can't afford to contract such a disease. Having the XP bug is bad enough!!

Gman - Short answer to your question - NO ! Long answer- No there isn't ! I bought my first Contender back in the late 60's, a 30 Herrett. Then there was the 357 Herrett, 223 Rem, 257 TCU (2 of them), 7-30 Waters and a rechamber to 7mm GNR, a 17 Mach IV, a 270 Ren and now a 375 Win (2 of them). I'm in the process of ordering an Encore in hope that this will cure the Contenderitis ! Who the hell am I kidding. But above all, have fun.

You still need one of each of the following bullet diameters 45, 357, 30, 270, 25, 22, 20, 17 and 14. And then, a hunting trip to justify each of them. I think you have a long way to go before your case of contenderitis runs it's course. You lucky dog.

You guys are in cahoots with with that hillbilly from Kentucky! I don't want nor need any danged Encore. Besides I've already had one with a 243 and a muzzleloading barrel. I got smart and sold those!

i was smart and sold all my conder stuff then along came the encore. tried one .....now have 4 pistol frames, 2 rifle frames ,1 frame set for shotgun slugs.so good luck with your contenderitis..
