This round might work for a while. At least until the animals toughen up and we need something with more power.

I think that might have been posted on April 1.

That sounds great! And as a bonus feature ... you can use the empty casings to help stack your quarters! One of those should probably hold 4 or 5 dollars worth.

I missed it the first time around, I did get a good laugh out of it though. This is a subject that has bothered me for a long time. It seems like most writers anymore think the .44 Mag, .30-30, .30-06, etc, are not capable of downing game anymore. As soon as a bigger/hotter round comes out they write older rounds off as being inadequate. Their staff did an excellent job tackling that subject in a humorous way.

Someone of you guys has ever seen the gun that shoots this cartridge or knows how it looks like? Is it a rifle or a pistol? If you have one, can you post a picture of this gun?
Thanks

the whole thing with the 825 was a joke, it was poking fun at our constant desire for bigger and more powerful cartridges. I do know there was an idiot that had a 600 Nitro Express Encore built and there was a video going around of the gun almost killing a couple people dumb enough to shoot it. I don't have the link anymore but one the other guys here might, it's definitely worth watching.

I need to get one of those rounds so I can use it as a boat anchor. Wait, I don't own a boat! Ok a paper weight.
