I just bought one of these, http://www.jumpingjacktrailer.com to tow behind my '07 Jeep Wrangler.
This is going to be so cool come hunting season. I've done the other tent trailers and large (29') trailers, but I really think I'm going to like this so much better. It still gives you the feeling that your tent camping but you don't have to try to climb up out of bed and it gives you a place to play cards or what ever. I have a canopy and table for a kitchen so I don't need any of that in the trailer. Plus this is so much cheaper then the pop up tent trailers and you can take it on some pretty rough roads and trails. Just thought I would share in case you are looking for something like this for hunting season.

That will get the job done and it will be alot easier to tow than my 26ft trail lite.

BEhind my Jeep it would be. Behind your truck, you could tow just about anything you wanted to!

I should re phrase, it's not the towing it's the turning around to park it on the mountain where i hunt, between my truck and trailer I might as well be trying to park an 18 wheeler.

The price I paid was $5695.oo with the options I got. We got the one with 2 double beds. The single/double bed one was $5495.oo.with some options. I think the base price is about $5000.oo but of course that depends on where you get it and all, just like buying a car. I could have driven farther and paid less, but then it would have cost me that much more in gas.

I have a friend that one he puts his atv on it and goes to the end of the road and then hooks up the atv and drives as far as the atv will pull it.Great hunting rig.I have been thinking of getting one and getting rid of my tent trailer.

I had a little 8' Jayco pop up tent trailer that I towed behind my CJ7. I took it alot of places, but nothing like what I'm going to take this through. This is going to see some rough country both from hunting and 4 wheel drive trips.

Well I picked up the trailer last Saturday and spent the night in it. It's great! It goes up fast, it took us about 15min. to put it up the first time, but I know I can get it down to under 10min. Put it down was a little more of a problem. It was blowing about 25 to 35 mph and the wind kept trying to putit back up for me. We figured out how to do it and got it down and ready to travel in under a half hour. The beds are comfortable and the double bed have more then enough room for 2 adults with room to flop around. The floor space has enough room for 2 to 3 people to get dressed at one time. It towed behind my Jeep wrangler very well, could hardly tell it was there. Great little trailer. It is just what we needed, being that we are tent campers, but because of my back I can't get up off the ground very well, I can now just roll out and put my feet on the carpet. You still get the tent feel because it is almost all tent. No doubt we will be camping this coming weekend. If you are looking for a good camping and hunting trailer this will work for you. You can even put your kill on top of it and have a way to tie it down, plus everything else you will need for a couple of weeks in the mountains. rupe

Rupe, just keep it off the coast. I went out yesterday to start the checkover on my outfit for hunting season and I found a nightmare. I have a 26ft Trail lite and I went to fire up the heater and nothing. I ended up spending about 4hrs and by the time it was done I had the integrated circuit board out of the heating system cleaning corrosion and spider webs off of it and then I had to take the thermostat apart and clean the contacts on it and then the gas nozzle had some corrosion in it and this trailer is only a 2004. Then I moved to the fridge and found the same problem with gas nozzle on it but I've got everything working now but I have to clean all the spiders out and off of it and clean the black crap that grows on everything around here off of it. I'm ready to get along ways from this rain forest, 112" a year avg and the salt air.

I had that spider problem with the 29' trailer I had too. The web gets into it and it won't flame. It doesn't take long for them to do it either. We don't have to worry about the salt but the mold and mildew you have to watch for. Oh and the moss as well. Can't wait to move to Central Oregon. Dry Dry Dry yeah!
