Over on the Graybeard Outdoors site, there is a .257 JDJ barrel and dies, does anyone have any expirience with this round? How does it shoot and how does it work on deer/antelope??? Do i NEED to buy it???

It is one of the better 25 cal cartridges for the Contender.
Work great for deer/antelope

My 257JDJ is one of my favorite deer rounds. It kills way beyond it size. 85gr Nosler BT's work great. I have killed a bunch of deer and all were one shot kills.

The .257 JDJ is fantastic. Super accurate. Very light recoil. 100 gr @ 2620 fps ; 85 gr @ 2800 fps. Flattens deer and pronghorn and like-sized animals. Yes, you need one. No, mine's not for sale.
