Thanks Popeanyoung! I would guess about 5-6 hours between designing a paper pattern, cutting, punching, stitching and wet forming the leather. I'm sure I work fairly slow compared to someone with experience. I will usually start a holster one evening and get it to the point of gluing in a liner so it can sit and dry overnight. The next day I will punch and stitch the leather, then wet form it to the gun and let it dry. I figured the materials cost to be around $10-$15.

Pab1 great job. I would only suggest that you get something to support the thumb break so it can stand up on it's own. Otherwise it looks like it is a good working holster.

That's sweet Pab! I see a hobby turning into a cottage industry for you if you desire.
I would 2nd Raf's comment about a stiffiner in the thumb break so it's always held in a position where the thumb naturally hits it when drawing.
You do excellent work!

Thanks guys! I was trying to come up with something to use as a stiffener, but with the snaps I am using I can't add any more material and still have them lock in. I'll have to see if I can find some snaps with a longer tube. This one is pretty basic but works great.

Pab1 see if you can buy a snap that has a spring steel support to the female part of the snap. I think you should be able to find one out there somewhere. Good luck.
