I am getting ready to order a custom MGM Barrell in 50cal ml 16 1/4 in long. I have to do this to fall with in VA Law as a carbine to hunt big game with a ML. Would love to get feedback on a set up like this any body with info let me hear it.

Hey Medic. How've you been? Sounds like a great setup to me. Should be plenty powerful yet compact and somewhat light. I hunt VA some each fall and hate it that I can't take my 15" 209x50 with me. Good luck with that bbl; should be sweet. Let me know how you do with it. Have any luck last year with the bisley hunter you got from me?

Hope this works out places my order with MGM on Thursday for the 16 1/4 ML Barrell see it in about six weeks just in time to get it ready for our ML season.

I did get to take a shot at a running 8 point with the Bissley Hunter last year i was driving the dogs and he doubled back on me did not get a lot of time to use it was trying hard to get my seven year old son his first deer not as much still hunting time. But had it out tonight doing a little shooting and getting ready for this season.
