I was just wondering if theres a factory load using the 300gr Partition bullet, because Id like something I can carry for deer and bear. And no, right now Im not loading for the casull, so Im going to be taking factory loads into the field. If all else fails Im might just go with the CorBon 320gr Flat point penetrator or 300gr JSP, because I have to use something expanding or with a hollow point according to CA law... anybody have any ideas???

Win loads the 260 Partition in their Partition Gold line.
Buffalo Bore loads a 300 jfn.
Cor Bon and Federal load the 250 Barnes x bullet.
Cor Bon also has a 285 sp.

I'd trust any of the above for your uses.

Hornady loads the 300 gr. XTP in .454.

Rev, I handloaded the 300gr part. over a hefty charge of H-110 which proved to be the most accurate load in my FA`s 454 with
3 shots in 3/4" at 50yds.....

Winchester's Partition Gold is offered with the 300 grain bullet.
